Location

The house is within easy walking distance of all shops and restaurants in Tahoe City. Tesla Supercharging Station is also a 5 minute walk away across the street from Safeway. Truckee River Raft trips begin across the street. There are some great bike trails that go along the Truckee River, and West Shore. Tahoe Rim Trail access is across the street for mountain biking or hiking. One of our favorite hikes is a small trail that goes along the south side of the Truckee River (good for fishing too). All summer water toys (kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, etc.) can be rented at the public beach in Tahoe City (less than 10 minutes walk) and paddled back to our pier. Palisades Tahoe (Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley) Ski Resorts are a short 10-15 minute drive from the townhouse. Homewood Ski Area is less than 10 minutes away. Tahoe City Transit Center is within walking distance and you can pick up free local shuttles to nearby towns and Palisades Tahoe.
